Hi, Has anyone travelled along the C14 road in Spain from the Autopista AP2 near Lleida down to Reus. Is it caravan friendly for a twin axle ?

All advice gratefully received.

Thanks

I haven't towed on the C14, however the A-27 runs more or less parallel. Do you have an option to use the A-27 and then go west to your destination? We stayed at Tamarit (north of Tarragona) in September and most of the minor roads were excellent and I would have no qualms towing our 7.5m Coachman along them. Try following the route on Google street view - if there are HGVs on the route then it will suitable for a twin axle.

You’d be better posting this question under the overseas touring section. You may even find relevant information if you do search on that discussion thread.

    Hi,

I always use the C14 travelling to Tarragona. Leave AP2 J9 Montblanc onto N240 at next round a bout onto C14, if you stay on the N240 the trip is very scenic around Lilla but not great with a caravan in tow. The C14 is about 20 miles long and 50% duel carrigeway. As the tolls have been lifted on the AP2 and AP7 most HGVs no longer use the C14.
