Caravan sites near Malaga
Anyone any suggestions of a good clean and tidy site near Malaga or within 50 miles either way?

Its a bit of an urban jungle around Malaga and that coastal area. The only one I have used near there is Camping Málaga Monte Parc which is inland in a nicer area. I found it perfectly acceptable. Further away I have also used Camping Cabopino and further still Camping Marbella Playa. Both popular sites. You can check these out and others on >Search4Sites<

Assume as a fellow Caravanner intending the long & costly tow down to Southern Spain you are perhaps looking for a longer term site or for overwintering etc ?
We have visited, some very very briefly, many of the sites from Gibraltar to Alicante. There are plenty of options likely meeting your preferences & budget but would strongly suggest, to suit your specific needs & desires, you do a simple cheap short break holiday, hire a car and visit some you’ve narrowed down yourself. It’s quite an enjoyable Touring trip around in itself and saves huge un-expected disappointment on arrival.
We did just that and were pretty horrified at some of the recommended sites we’d researched or been recommended or were listed. Many had glowing 10/10 & 5* reviews and glorious pictures on websites.

Hi montesa, We are considering a trip including Portugal and the Spanish coast for 2023.
Even a brief look at sites, via Google maps and Streetview, shows many that do not live up to the 'brochure' as you say.
After looking at sites to fit between possible stops at Cabopino and the Alicante area have concluded that we will likely skip that, very large, section altogether unless we find, or someone suggests, a site or sites that are suitable.
EDIT-Just seen your response to my thread so will take a look and respond further there.
Thanks
