Markers, pegs or any other form used to indicate positioning are all the same to me.

    You miss the point, PD.

You started by advocating use of the whole pitch any way we choose with the markers at the extreme edges.

I pointed out there is insufficient space between pitches to allow this and you then replied -

"Disagree TW. It is easy enough to place markers to allow the required spacing and in addition it identifies the area you can use."

It is contradictory insofar as you cannot utilise the whole pitch area and also place markers to allow the required spacing unless you completely redesign the pitching area and reduce the number of pitches. Think about it and you will see that a narrow finger of grass separating pitches does not allow units to be placed on the adjacent edges of adjoining pitches while maintaining the correct spacing. To place markers is exactly what we have now.🤷🏻‍♂️

So basically if you park your Motorhome nose in with nearside next to the marker. If you want to put your canopy out with a British built Motorhome it will be on the grass finger (no man’s land) and reducing the fire break distance to what is not allowed.

I think you misunderstood TW. I referred to the extremities of the pitch not the edges. Two different things.

I am struggling with comms here so I am going to leave it that but will be happy to debate it further when I get back to my desktop and keyboard.

It’s OK, PD. If you believe 'edges' and 'extremities' are two different things there’s no point in debating so I’m leaving it there.
