Spainish toll roads

how do the tolls work in spain  my motorhome is 3.5 tonne how do they know this as France does hight  This is my first time in spain any hints welcome  thanks john 

I'm traveling from Santander to Vilanova near Barcelona

    Very few toll roads in Spain these days - only those marked in red on this map. Pay as you go with credit card .

    thanks for that would you happen to know what class a 3.5t motorhome is

    As far as I am aware there is no class for motorhomes regardless of weight or dimensions. The rate is the same as for cars and is not that exxpensive but the rate per kilomenter does vary with each autoroute.
