    Had to happen  - didn't it?

    Yep I got the bug, but fortunately seemed no worse than a bad cold.

    Thank the Lord for 2 jabs and a top up. After a miserable week have now tested clear.

    Just have to overcome the laid back, couldn't careless stupor and then get on with life.

    Same here tested positive on our return from Lanzarote, OH has a Neg today but I'm still Pos. will see what tomorrow brings.  Like you nothing worse than a cold thankfully.

    At least we will have had an antibody boost without getting another jag.

    It has been suggested that I may wish to volunteer for a five hour jabbing session next Thursday...jabbing 5 to 11 year olds.  Somebody has a sense of humour 😂.

    Already declined.  In my experience kids, parents and needles don't mix.  I don't need the stress 😊.

    Ah yes, I forget about the parents😱

    Just hope it goes well, regardless of who gives the jabs. Or six month old niece had to go to hospital with COVID. Thankfully all ok, her and parents now recovering, but it was scary.

    Yesterdays papers carried info on the " New Improved Vaccine " for the Autumnal jabbing season !! It will, apparently, have wonderful magical abilities to deal with the latest new varieties, as defined by Moderna { surprisedwink }

    Ha  Well, we shall see !!

    The flu jab has been targeted every years for more years than I can remember.  It is only to be expected that the Covid 19 vaccine would be similarly tweaked.

    Back on on the needle next week.  It's not gone away and the vulnerable need to be protected.  Volunteers are still required.  If you have a few hours to spare please help.

    Vaiiry Strange  undecided  I've been seeing  more & more folks ' Of An Age ' going about their daily life wearing masks once more  surprised.

    I aint knocking them, just passing a little comment cos it's only over the last week when I've taken less care to ensure I've got one handy' so Brian must buck up his ideas and pile a couple over the Wallet Parking Spot innocent just to ensure all is well !!

    We have been using them on busy public transport as I think that was how I caught COVID earlier in the years.

    Redundant in seven days 😭👍😂.  No more jabbing at our centre until the next round, maybe sometime next year.  Try to keep warm and stay well all.

    I went to have my annual Doppler test today and I noticed that the surgery were no longer insisting people wear a mask, although many were. I asked my nurse about this and she said as they don't insist you wear a mask in hospital its a bit difficult to insist they do in the surgery! I also noticed that that they had reinstated the automatic check-in screen which had been out of action since the start of the pandemic.

    Well……..I tested negative today after my first ever brush with COVID. All I can say is just how grateful I am to all the wonderful Scientists and everyone else involved with the vaccines. I had no symptoms whatsoever, it was merely a case of staying away from others, and testing to see progress. I know I have been lucky to get away so lightly. Shall remain vigilant though, for the sake of my loved ones and others.👍

    Quite agree about your good fortune wrt COVID, TtDA !! BUT I have to say that my appointment with Diabetes Specialist Sister at my own surgery has been moved from Monday 9 Jan to Monday 30 Jan due to Staff Illness { I am sure they are just building them selves up for the whacking they think I deserve    embarassed  !! }

    Despite comments passed over the recent weeks  COVID has not gone away and shows no signs of changing its habits either  .

    Keep warm, dry and TAKE CARE PLEASE !!

    After a bit of a refresher I spent yesterday jabbing to give others a bit of a rest; how things have changed?

    No longer are the recipients pleased or happy to get another round of protection, a significant number now want someone to blame for the pandemic and their inconvenience.  The favourite culprit seems to be a blonde ex PM 😄, other culprits are available.
