It's that time of year again. Covid jabs for all that need the protection.

This time most of us are being given the Moderna offering.  I'm not jabing this time but I was jabed yesterday.

I now have a sore arm, general aches and pains a raging headache and other flu like symptoms.  Previously I have not been affected but this time, in common with others, I feel rotten.

MiL had hers last Thursday and only reported a slightly sore arm. No other problems. They did a full review before giving it her following her Stroke back in January.

Similar effects are being widely reported on other fora, but I would always encourage people to put up with the side effects than risk catching a potentially killer illness.

Went for ours today. In the car we were trying to work out how many we have had in total? We thought 7 with todays  but the guy giving us the injection confirmed it was actually 8 with this one. Just wonder how long we will go on having them?

Further to my post above. I have felt awful today, terrible headache, difficulty focusing, very tired as LLM said flu like things. I hope its all to do with the vaccination? Apart from still being tired thankfully the other symptoms have subsided. Margaret, apart from a sore arm, seems to be fine!

I'm back to normal now - whatever that is 😀.  It took about 48 hrs for the flu like symptoms to subside and about six days for my arm to recover, but that was the jabbers fault.  She got me outside of the gold triangle, used too much pressure on the plunger and then rubbed the area; all big no no's.

We had Moderna last Autumn, previously only ever had Pfizer. Must have been lucky, we were fine. This might be a different strain though. We  had Shingles and Pneumonia in March. One in each arm, just felt a bit tired next day, but thankfully all ok. Mum had her COVID jab Tuesday, she’s a bit off it at the moment.

We will have whatever is suggested to us. Careful checks everytime on OH, who has no spleen. He lost that a few years ago, but does ok without it. He’s never had COVID, even when I got it via caring for Mum in hospital.

Thanks RK. Thankfully much better today, more like normal. We managed to vote, visit my son's cats as they are away and did the Waitrose shopping. Couldn't have done any of that yesterday! I seem to get a reaction to most jabs I have but not as bad as that one. Perhaps its a sign that they workwink
