Transport to Palace of Versailles

Hi. We have booked a few nights at Huttopia Versailles campsite via CMC. Can anyone tell us if a taxi can be hired from the site to the Palace for an early morning tour ? We have tried e-mailing the site direct but cannot get a reply. We can normally deal with issues like this - indeed it is an integral part of the motorhoming holiday - but time is rather short for Versailles stop. Many thanks.

    Reviews on Trip Advisor tell you how and where to walk to the bus stop, five minutes away, to to get the number 2 bus. But if you really want a taxi then I am sure the reception office staff will give you a phone number when you check in, or even book one for you. They are very professional and multi lingual too.

    From the site its about a two mile walk. Have you thought about downloading the UBER App, it apparently works in Paris. Makes for easy and transparent payment.
