Brittany in June
Planning on visiting Brittany in June. Would welcome any suggestions of sites on beach and close to town/village. Travelling in motorhome so prefer to walk from site. At moment looking at Trinite sur Mere Camping de La Bai and Concarneau Camping Les Sables Blancs
Would appreciate any comments of people who have been on these sites but also any recommendations for other Brittany sites.

I can give you several Brittany sites on a beach - Fond de la Baie at Locquirec, les Abers at Landeda, , and several other good sites within 400 metres of a beach - Pors Peron on the Crozon peninsula, Beg Leguer near Lannion, and Le Vieux Verger near Nevez , - but with all of them it’s the old motorhome problem : they aren’t walkable to village, to restaurants or to shops. If you take supplies they will be fine for a few days.
A compromise might be Camping le Patis at La Roche Bernard. It’s harbour side rather than beach front, but walkable on the flat to bars and cafes, or ten minutes uphill to the old town. You would have the choice of a full sized emplacement and electricity for about £15 sterling, or a cheek by jowl motorhome pitch near the entrance for about a tenner.
Trinite sur Mer and Concarneau are urbanised and outside my comfort zone so I can’t help with the sites you mentioned there. Not my scene. A bit like Torquay. Sorry.

The pitches at Le Sables Blanc are a bit small and the road round the sites rather narrow. There's a pleasant walk to the harbour parallel to Rue Malakoff. Les Druides at Carnac is good. Across the road is Le Dolmen a few bob cheaper.

Stayed at Camping les Druids a few years back. Nice enough within walking distance of a lovely beach and Carnac with shops, restaurants etc. Many French sites are very different places in June compared to August and I’m not sure I’d recommend it in high season.
Also. +1 for Camping Municipal Patis at La Roche-Bernard, but probably for a couple of days at most.

We have used Camping la Bai near Trinite. The site is nice with good clean pitches, and excellent shower blocks. Many full serviced pitches. WiFi. Across the road at the site entrance is the bar/restaurant with a lovely West sea view facing terrace (Sunset with a drink here is stunning). Nice beach. Wonderful walk along a footpath into Trinite which has bars and restaurants. We would go back there antime.

Quiberon is our favourite spot in Brittany. Our favourite site is the municipal site https://www.campingdugoviro.fr/ . It was going to be closed and sold off for development but seems to have been reprieved. It's a quaint site in a great position. There are two more sites just around the point with full razzmatazz.

Saint-Malo[n48.64341 w1.99385] tarmac surface, services outside the aire, included in the fee is a return bus trip[bus stop outside the aire entrance] which takes you to the walls of the old city.
Erquy[n48.6212 w2.4724] level tarmac surface, next to the warm sea.
Tréguier[n48.78932 w3.23144] roughish surface,, no services except for a rubbish skip, picturesque views over the R. Guindy but a worthwhile walk up into the town.
Penmarc'h: Flower Camping Les Genets, a friendly ACSI site just outside Penmarc'h with a covered, heated swimming pool or there are some aires within the town.
Concarneau[n47.87864 w3.9202] tarmac at the old railway station, services, a longish walk down to the old walled town is worthwhile.

We are biased having Plymouth/Roscoff crossing on our doorstep, but Brittany is a brilliant destination. Le Conleau in Vannes might be of interest to you.

We are now back and thought I would give an update on sites visited
Quiberon - municipal site https://www.campingdugoviro.fr/ .
Opening times a bit random. Closed all day Sunday so had to choose a pitch from map shown on office window and book in on the Monday. Fairly basic site with good sanitaires. Excellent location next to beach and easy walk into town along promenade. Would use again.
Camping les Druids, Carnac
Good site and facilities. Excellent modern Super U close by. About 20 minutes’ walk into Carnac Plage
Le Sables Blanc, Concarneau
Really impressed with this site. Think there has been some recent refurbishment - very modern facilities, nice pool and bar terrace with great view out to sea. About 20 minute walk into town.
Camping Kervastard, Beg-Meil
Excellent location small village with bars and restaurants. Site facilities a bit tired. Not sure how long this site will be open to tourers as mainly statics. In fact, we had to move to a new pitch to accommodate installation of new static on adjoining pitch.
Camping Ar Kleguer Saint Pol de Leon
Nice site with good pitches. 25-minute uphill walk into town. Stayed one night before Roscoff ferry. Barrier opens 7 am. Ferry 15 minute away.

We visited both Les Druids and Sables Blanc in 2018 and would concur with the comments. The only downside I found to the Concarneau site was that the pitches were rather small and the site roads a bit tight with the drive over grey waste straddling the exit route from the site.
