Yes.... here's hoping I'm not in it!! Mind you... I didn't spot any cameras.. hopefully I managed to avoid them....
It was lovely to speak to Rowena (albeit briefly) on the way in today... Spoke to Nick Lomas on the CAMC stand and a quick hello to Grenville (Club Chairman). Had quite a chat with David Fannin from Colapz, who also took me through the new proposed 20l Water System they are hoping to bring out this year - he knows I've been waiting for this..... Spoke to John Rose from Rose Awnings, who fitted the canopy to our current caravan, and spoke briefly to Steve and a couple of others from Raymond James. Folk at Jacksons seemed busy so didn't stop to chat.
Looked in many new caravans.... for future reference of course. Really missed the Snowdonia Cheese company, who didn't come this time. I'll have to order some online.

Watching the Channel 5 programme now -- managed to stick it out for 45 minutes, but I am not impressed think I'll forgo the rest of tonight's prog and have an extended snooze tomorrow !!
One thing I have noticed is :-- How few folks are masked~up !! So glad that I did not bother trying the ( not so ) smart M6 !!

Just finished watching the recording. I'm confused as I though it was a "Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show", so why mobile homes and crazy golf?

There have always been mobile homes at the show.

Mobile homes are caravans.
My park home at 20' x 52' is also technically a caravan.

I'm narrow minded.

Having spoken to the powers that be at The Show , do you think they are aware of the I T problems that we all seem to be experiencing ?. This post is not to target you, just wondering if they are aware that Rome is burning whilst they are fiddling.

There’s a lot more you could throw into the mix, paddle boards would be a good example this year.
Interesting to note what attracts the most interest. Much in favour this year judging by the crowds is the so called compact coachbuilt.
Dull, drab interior decor has always been a feature of too many MHs & caravans, seemingly modelled on old folks homes, but this year it’s gone to a new level (personal view, obviously).

I did note when watching, that holiday homes and pods etc seem to be more in focus ,than the last time we went
One thing that was not really mentioned was the couple who had the old Bailey Pagent ,that seemed to have had a complete interier refurb, ,very modern

David, you have very modest expectations when spending upwards of £60k 😉

Not talking about ultra trendy, just a break from oppressive shades of beige, brown alongside dark wood. Presumably the manufacturers have done their homework for the target demographic, but for me, interiors spoil too many otherwise nice vans, You don’t see it in car upholstery so much.

Apart from the damp, that is?

I thought last night's programme was directed a little more towards what might interest some of us on here.... At least they gave us a look inside the new Alicante Grande Porto, a Swift van, and I think it was a Coachman?? However, there was no assessment of the 'weak points' of each van.... and no-one mentioned the user payload.....

Maybe CCC offered use of some facilities? The lady towing in episode 1 was using Kingsbury Water Park site. Julia Bradbury probably has more celebrity appeal to the programme makers and maybe better media industry connections than CMC?

JVB - I think it might have been a long time since you were in the latest European product - not dark and real wood too.
