The Estate, Patterdale
Hi, I was just wondering if anybody has been to the Estate cl site at patterdale. I have read the reviews, but was interested if anybody had any comments etc. Many thanks

As well as 48 reviews on here I can find 15 more in other places - so you really don’t need any more comments. But nevertheless I wil add for you not to try to approach over Kirkstone pass from the Windermere site with a caravan.
We used to live near Penrith and Ullswater was our home base lake - if you are fit and active walkers you will like it.0 -
I would say that even the main road in is not for the faint hearted, or inexperienced towers, especially in the summer or any weekend .

You can trust the reviews of thebells. We have found ourselves in agreement on a couple of CLs that we have both stopped at and they did once post that it was one of their favourite sites.
I tend to look at regular reviewers of CLs, particularly if they reviewed sites I personally have stayed on as it gives you an insight as to whether you hold the same values and expectations.
