£131.9 here at Sainsbury's
£132.7 at Asda
Our local Esso is £137.9 (but 4p a litre less, with the Fuelpecker fuel card)
.....for those who like (not me!!) it's £164.9 at the Services at J10 of the M42.... !! My guess is they've probably got plenty left!! 🤣🤣🤣

My daughter had to get some petrol at Scotch Corner services, no queues but because her car cannot take this new fangled petrol she had to pay £1.73 a litre!
Luckily for her (but for us) the tax payer will foot the bill

i filled up last night. Seems i got a bargain compared to some reports on here. Why does it always end in .9!

Psychology, 1.9 seems way cheaper than 2.0, in reality it’s 1/10th better, but that’s psychology for you🤷🏻♂️

I use the pump price as a guide to how cheap or expensive a particular petrol station is. I can't remember the last time, if ever, I actually went in and bought say 20 litres. usually it's full tank or a multiple of £10.

Not many care enough nor are interested to drill down into the nitty-gritty BB, most see-£10 or £9 & change👍🏻

How many of us have quick enough reactions to stop the pump at 0.9p anyway?

Even more fun when the pump is calbrated in litres and you want to purches a round number of gallons!

Me too, lots of £60:01 for example and very few £60:00. I think it's a trick built into the pumps.

The filling station we used a few days ago had a limit of £35 and the pump stoped dead on that automatically. When I went to pay the attendant, presumably thinking that wasn’t much for a MH, said if you want to you are welcome to put more in and reset the pump.

Just a reflection…
In days long since past I was a petrol pump attendant at weekends. Nobody would dream of serving themselves. Even then I recall supply shortages and coupons. I had to turn away anybody but locals and account holders - that created some heated arguments! Rises in fuel duty were usually announced several hours before implementation and sparked the same kind of panic buying that we see today. Plus sa change!
