Hardly worth it.

I've recently booked a few nights at Nunnykirk club site for next year. I wanted Spring Bank Holiday but I'm surprised to find the site doesn't open till June 1st. What a short season as it closes again Sept 25th so hardly 4 months. Does anyone have any inside knowledge regarding this. Is this site being wound down? It's one of my more 2 local sites and it would be a shame to lose it.

Don't have any such knowledge but I assume you do know the spring BH in 2022 is 2nd and 3rd June?

I think there is some ongoing doubt about how long the Club can keep the lease. To do with the school adjacent I think. Plus if the weather has been wet in Spring, it does get badly waterlogged, so they might be thinking better to open a good bit later. We have had a trip cancelled because of this a few years ago.
We love this little Site as well, would be a real shame if it came off the network.

Thanks, I hadn't realised. When I've looked onto it, I see it's been moved and added to a new bank holiday given in 2022 for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. So my dates do actually include the two new BH's. Thanks for drawing my attention to it.

Are there any Cls around that area that can accommodate you for those dates?

Seasonal pitches are available 29th April to 25th September, so presumably site will be open then. For some reason seasonal pitches are listed under Scotland. Try ringing head office
