Grumble Grumble
I got chatting to a guy on the CL where we were staying. Talk about grumble. First it was the access lane that was too narrow, (single track for less than 100 yards). Then it was the dangerous corner when entering the lane. This lane saw about twenty vehicles a day using it so not exactly busy. Then it was the pitches. They were hard standing but quite narrow at about 4 metres wide which meant parking ones car in front of the caravan. Not an unusual occurrence. The pitches were also relatively close to each other at only 7 metres apart at the nearest points. He told me he had already had words with the owner about making the pitches bigger but was told that that was not going to happen. The lay of the land wouldn't allow this. He had only been on the CL for about 24 hours. Finally, he was out one day and his air awning collapsed, not for the first time apparently so, he told me, he had already been on to the manufacturers. I'm just glad he wasn't pitched next to me !!

I think the guy better stop using CLs then.
5 out of 6 of our current stops on CLs have been down access roads much longer than the one he was complaining about and whilst in Devon we saw a CL that would frighten the life out of me taking a caravan down it. It was bad enough taking the car.
If he's that bothered then do some homework before he books it and look at some maps of the access roads.
You really can't please some people at all. They're not happy unless they are moaning.

He will be a refugee, couldn’t get a pitch on a Club Site. It’s a big frightening world touring without white pegs and staff in red shirts to organise you😂
