I don't know if members are aware but you can get 15% discount from them if you belong to any "Outdoor" club, which in this instance includes the CAMC.

Bought some stuff there today and asked on the off chance and was told about offer.

That's good to know. Do you know if it's off sale items as well as full price ones, as it is at Mountain Warehouse?

As far as I am aware Nellie it is but didn't ask as our items weren't in the sale.

Thanks, WN. Guess I'll just have to drop in and enquire, as I desperately need a new pair of hiking boots.

There's talk of Go Outdoors going into Administration. The owners, Sports Direct, have commenced the process to place them there so do it quickly if you want anything there. Mind you there may be sales in the offing.laughing

Wrong owners, WN, they are owned by JD Sport . From a BBC report in June

"Go Outdoors' owner has called in administrators for the business as the effects of coronavirus piles pressure on High Street retailers.
JD Sports, which owns Go Outdoors, said the Covid-19 lockdown had brought into "sharper focus" the costs of the business, especially its lease terms. "

Could well be right about a bargain though.

Need to be. A lot of their stuff is a bit pricey.

They(Go Outdoors) are restructuring to give themselves a chance of a future🤷🏻‍♂️, it’ll be some shenanigans for multi millionaires to keep more money at others expanse. I read they bought back Go Outdoors from the administrators who they’d appointed🙄, apparently a lot of companies have done it during the lockdowns.

    Cheers Nellie.

I did wonder late last night if I'd mixed the two up but signal had disappeared by then.
