Thank You C&CC

Only simple to a truly simple mind surely? Sorry, DD but you’re coming across as either really daft or grasping in the extreme. I’ll let you decide which it is.
Perhaps you’ll complain to head office that you took the site night voucher offer without giving it due consideration but now you want more.🙄

Really no problem accessing here?
PS is a while just 11 minutes?

Bummer eh DD, you post on an open forum & pesky folk expect to be able to post to you🤷🏻♂️, perhaps you could ask LLM to post in your stead whilst on your sabbatical👍🏻🤙🏻

A good try at a dodge.
Amazing that you looked and got that that part but didn't notice sites would be closed? But you knew there was a national lockdown didn't you? You knew that such leisure places nationally were closed yet expected club sites open?
DD, we understand as DK said you are protesting too much now!

I'll share it with you M. I can't bear DD to be so out of pocket.

I'm sure he does DD and will probably post to say so, he/she usually does within a short while of your posts I've noticed?
Anyway good to see the access problems to CT have cleared up DD. I still can't get around how someone who has posted so many many times about contracts and law wouldn't have checked (I would call it small print but it was clearly large print) when sites were open or even missed the national lockdown of such places, but I suppose we all have off days?

You’re not bringing dogs into this are you?😟

How about you, David? Are you expecting some sort of extension/compensation from the club for not being able to use their sites for the full 12 months of your latest membership?
(Note - obviously this post, at least, fits with the topic of DD's thread. )

See DK's post, or or you miss that as well? Another off day LD
Well yes, actually it was £34.30 when you cashed your voucher in (according to your own story).
Cost didn't come into it, you posted you joined to get a free one site voucher didn't you?

DD
Is this not cakeism? Not only do you want the Club to give you a free site voucher you also want them to extend your membership knowing full well that sites were unlikely to open until your new membership was a month old? Ah, but you would lose the site voucher if you did that! You had the choice, and I would say that you did rather well by having the site voucher. Personally I can't think why the Club would give a site voucher to a returning members, if they have now stopped I feel that is a good decision.

That happens quite a lot on here from those so inclined. Looks like it’s now turned into a feeding frenzy!

Not at all, he spoke for you earlier I expected he’d potentially do it again, considering he jumped in for you it was the next expected step👍🏻

Try posts or posting, ie questions & answers from folk who are interested👍🏻. Further questions need to be reiterated due to inconsistencies & grey areas. If it isn’t for you SB then just read🙂

Interested in what….ridicule and taking the ****?

Come on David, you have posted many times that experience is not necessary to post. After all you keep posting on dogs, even write in to the AGM with a question yet haven't you had one for over 60 years!
In any event how many nights before this unusual year have you spent on club sites? And even then wasn't it on sites near to catching a ferry? I recall it was a few a year but you have posted many times before these times on club site matters? Even saying you had a right to express a view.
You've even posted that you don't intend to use club sites very much from now on.

As I've explained to you before, David, I'm a member of this forum because I retain an interest in a pastime I spent 40 years on, camping and caravanning, until 2 years ago (that's 30 times more recent than your dog ownership remember)
I asked the question just to assist in steering you back to the subject of the thread, because I couldn't understand the relevance of your earlier post to it. Always glad to assist.
PS - I don't own a red "settee" (sic), it wouldn't match the colour scheme of the rest of the van!

I’m not taking anything, if you read my posts I tend to keep it calm, I make my point & I read others points. I certainly don’t need these-****. I don’t get angry as I’ve no need to🤷🏻♂️. It’s a forum not a street corner or some back street👍🏻😊

We continue to renew our membership with the C&CC although we don't use them that often. We tend to stay on one of their sites for a week each year with a group of friends which also include tenters. Even staying on site for a week makes it cheaper to be a member... This year we did visit the Devizes site, which is one of the best C&CC sites we've been on. Some of the grassed areas didn't look brilliant, but at least Devizes have serviced pitches on hardstandings, which is our preferred type of pitch, and why I booked this site. We'll go there again as it's a convenient stop over when we visit our youngest daughter. The C&CC sites I have been one only seem to have a single chemical disposal point, whereas there are usually more CDP's on CAMC sites.
I generally prefer CAMC sites, although C&CC sometimes do look a bit more 'open'. As for the 'Friendly Club' strapline, in reality, I have found little difference between the 'friendliness' of either the CAMC or C&CC.
The CAMC did offer vouchers to pay site fees last year (I think it was £120 of vouchers for £100, if my memory serves me correctly). This was a real bargain for those of us who took the opportunity to but them. It's a pity the Club have no plans to continue with this, this year. I guess they took quite a hit because of the high take up of these vouchers.
David
