Following sat nav is fine I do it all the time. Just don’t do it blindly. I use lat and long for the entrance and then check the route against the CC instructions, adding way points if required.

We always check route instructions for a site we have not visited before, ,we have  only once been misled and that was by a diversion that took us almost into a very narrow lane ,just stopped in timesurprised

So how many full postcodes do you know, that covers a 27/ 54 mile area.  so that would be between 729 and 2916 square miles

I can use either and I presume post code was not to hand Having put in Tredegar I would normally pick the nearby sites (as I would also do if using a post code)and chose the exact CC location.

We are usually far too busy doing something enroute to somewhere to suffer any angst around arrival and departure times. In fact, if I have a gripe around Club Sites, it’s that they are inconvenient with a 8pm arrival cut off in Summer.

Regardless of what times the club has made in the past /current /future arrangements for arrivals & departure times at club sites.

We all know that the group of selfish *I'm more important that everyone else* clique of special members don't do rules & regulations that are set out for the Entire whole membership.

Sadly sometimes the wardens are the ones that come under the cosh from members, if they strictly implement the times laid out for a particular site because of access /exit reasons.

Chatsworth was a prime example of early arrivals taking the urine, until the end of the lane chain barrier was implemented, it stopped it in an instant. 🤔😉🤭

Surely anyone leaving can get off pitch by 11am at the latest . Thus leaving a clear hour for narrow approach roads etc . All new arrivals then know mid-day is a fixed time no matter what site you choose. This makes most difference to those on first day as the extra hour for pitching is nice to have

But at the expense of people having to leave an hour earlier? Personally an 'hour extra' to leave would be better.

No the 12:00  leave by date is fine, arrive at 13:00 is fine too.

Of course there is the problem that no matter what the arrival time there is always the selfish few who will try to get in before that time by one means or another. As said above have a set time but stick to it.
