David, I wonder if going to Spain through France if folk are likely to encounter any checks.
With no borders who is going to do them, it could be like Dave found with Italy. Not that forms shouldn't be done, they should but you do have to wonder.
Still not sure yet where we will go. Could be Germany, Switzerland and possibly France if it looks ok. Was originally heading to Spain but that might not be a good idea now.
We know folk we are going to Spain and Portugal next week via the ferry to Santander. They have promised to let us know how the journey is.

Our son returned from a working visit to NE Spain and Catalonia two weeks ago and reported no issues,Obviously he had to complete various forms and undergo tests etecetra before travelling and pre/post return,A bit of an inconvenience but no more than that.Form filling not an issue as he speaks and reads in Spanish and he is fortunate to have a native Spanish speaking OH.He had all the certifications etcetera on his phone and they were often checked.He travelled around "non touristy" areas ( he was working after all) and reported good anti Covid compliance by the locals whom he encountered and in the work places which he visited,He as not "gone down" with anything either since his return to the UK.

Can you update us on this David? Did you manage to complete the full form to allow you to travel? Did it take long to get the access code and then the QR code after sending the form? What did you need to show you were fully jabbed and how do you get this to them? Sorry for all the questions we will need to complete these forms on a Bank Holiday and have concerns if it goes wrong.

Sorry for the late reply, but we are in southern France and have been into Spain by road, and out again, with no checks whatsoever. (UK registered car). Our friends have done two recent trips, as usual, for shopping and a meal out somewhere different. There have been no border controls on the border at Le Perthus/Jonquera at all.
However, in the current times the situation anywhere is fast moving and I would check on requirements a day or two before you plan to cross the border.0 -
Great expanation on the form. Thanks for that. For the cabin number, did you just make up a cabin no or put a zero in ?
