COVID Vaccination Verification in France

Going to France in 2 weeks time.  Has anyone managed to get the TAC Verif app to work?  I have downloaded the app and scanned a print out of the code showing both vaccinations from the NHS app. On TAC Verif, I get a verified screen with my name but nothing else. When the app is closed this verification is lost.  I would have coveted the barcodes to be transferred across. I know the NHS app is supposed to be acceptable in France, but you know the French!!

    Hi there,

We had no dramas uploading our NHS vaccination certificates to the TousAntiCovid App. Once the app has been downloaded just scan the QR Code (for both vaccinations). The vaccination certificates are stored under the 'Health Pass' tab. I printed the NHS vaccination certificates out to make the job of scanning the QR Code easier (also means we have a hard copy if we need it in France).

    Hope that helps,

    Roger

I do not have or see a “Health Pass Tab”.

That's our plan David, will also take a printed copy (or 3) to use at the Chunnel to speed things along.

Any tips on Day 2 return test and plf form? Do you fill this in online or can i print copies to take with us in case of dodgy internet ( and no printer!) while we are in france. I know you need a number from the test you have booked to put on it .

Sorted the problem.  The advice I was following was, as published in one of the more reputable travel supplements,  to down load the Tous AntiCovid Verif app.  This is the wrong one.  The one to use is the Tous Anticovid, which is the same as the NHS Covid test & Trace app but with the added bonus of adding your vaccination barcode.  Tous AntiCovid Verif is the one venues will use to check your vaccination status.  Once I downloaded the correct app scanning & retaining the certificate was easy.   Just have to remember to rescan before going on holiday as the certificate only last for a month and take loads of paper copies to cover for tech malfunctions.
