Web problems
I am able to log into the CAMC website, and log onto my personal section, but cannot access any of my personal sections eg My Bookings, and Caravan Cover details?

I've been making bookings this afternoon and you had time to go and make a brew in between each page change.

I was checking a few things and page refreshing was taking up to a minute. Normally it’s CT that suffers, but for the last 24 hours the booking side has been abysmally slow. As there is clearly an issue you’d have thought some sort of explanation pop up would have been deployed. Although perhaps it has and I just haven't waited long enough for it to appear.😂

Annoying problems since 1pm when trying looking at availability. Month on month showing full. Spoke to Live Chat who confirmed site was having problems and just to wait for a while, how long is a while, because i did what they said and nothing happened so logged off. The way this site has been lately makes me want to pack in. There is nothing enjoyable about it.

We discussed this in another thread. When bring up the availability page it needs to refresh to show you what is available. This is being very slow at the moment. I have just tried on my laptop and if you use F5 to refresh it seems to work.

Perhaps too many members are trying to book a staycation, because they don't want to risk going abroad, so the system is grinding to a halt.
Maybe, as a result, the club is trying to reduce the numbers by upsetting as many as possible in the hope that we will go away?

Took me a frustrating hour last night to book two nights at Exeter. In the end I resorted to Live Chat. Agent on there was very good, came back to say that the website was having issues. While I thought I hadn’t booked anything at all, it in fact came up with two bookings for the same Site and period🤷♀️ Kind agent sorted things for me. There are likely to be some annoyed and frustrated folks over this weekend.

It gets better🙄 as well. I had an email from Club informing me that our new Membership card might be delayed for our renewal, so as it falls while we are away, I have downloaded App and hope this will be enough for Wardens/CL owners as we tour.

Re membership card on the app. It's an exact copy and as it is on the official App it should be ok

I need to change a booking in October, can't do it, the site bookings aren't working. If I press refresh I lose the page and am back to square one. I've cleared my own browser history/cache.
Is there any feedback from the club on this situation?

The air was blue Harry, I assure you. We wanted to leave Exeter and arrive at Marazion on the same day, but once I had finally got through the buffering on every page, it then told me I couldn’t make this booking as I had already got a booking on that date🤷♀️ On my next try, it booked us into Exeter twice! Apparently you are not supposed to be able to do this, but I managed it. Had it been before 5pm, I would simply have phoned the Site direct and made the booking that way. But it was later in the evening, so I resorted to Live Chat. Thankfully I got an agent very quickly, they did a bit of investigating, and it didn’t take more than 5 minutes to sort everything out. I did check that the relevant booking emails are now with me and correct, but it doesn’t inspire one with confidence. Booking Sites used to be the most reliable aspect of the website, but not so at the moment. Hopefully they will sort things out at HQ.

Can't access bookings had to wait in a que for over two hours to access the site then I kicked me out

The new booking system is broken. It doesn’t work on the app or the web site (unless you’re prepared to wait hours to get on).
The new system cannot have been properly tested before it went live.
The CAMC urgently need to send an email to all members explaining what is happening and the steps being taken to either fix it or roll back to the old system. An apology wouldn’t go amiss either.
Having worked in IT for over 40 years, much of that time on migrating old systems to new, I know there really is no excuse for getting this so wrong.
I can’t image the CAMC will admit they made a mistake.

Just tried to make a booking on the new system, what an absolute disaster! Who has time to sit and wait in an online queue or wait for an email to arrive to let them know that door is now open!
Best thing the club could do is bring the new system down, re-install the old system and fix the issues with the new system offline.
