I would think gas tanks come under pressure vessels , which require a specialist to do an inspection wink,

I did mention the majority BB. By that I meant the majority of vanners in the UK. Not the handful of folks that like yourself utilise those THS's and off grid places. Fair play to you I must say and when I hang up my club uniform I'll be joining in. My 150w solar panel is bored!!!!! I mentioned my UK gas usage. I run a site here so at present I work for 3 weeks then I get a week off so I'm always on hook up on my rest days hence my minimal lpg usage. I've used 2 6kg bottles in 2 years! When in Spain as you know those cheap repsol bottles for a tenner are a must.

Oh how I wish one of those £35 - £50 sites was one of mine, I'd have retired years agoyell

I bet the price of lots of CMC sites this week will cost more than £35 for 2 adults and 2 children. Like Southport £41.10p

Why do I get the impression that to forgo an EHU is, in some way, heretical or subversive?

Your choice, some of us like the flexibility of being able to go off grid now and again.

I fully agree. A powerful shower, separate toilet and wash basin and all for our exclusive use. No waiting, queueing or need to walk more than a metre or two.  Lovely, and not an EHU is sight.

Whatever you say BB, your opinion, no problem. I don't think anyone needs an education how you can park up in a field for next to nothing and use that ever so cheap gas at an lpg pump. Maybe 20k or 60k who do it, fair play to them. Folk being attached to an ehu is what the overall majority of leisure vehicle owners in the UK require.

I have a couple of gasit refillable bottles that I'll bring back from Spain this winter as well as a goldmine of calor bottles I've collected over the winters there.

Calor will soon have a solution thoughlaughing
