    I would like to recommend the EMBLEM VILLA CL (1657) site just outside Upton-on-Severn. Full service site, nice and flat just off M5, but very quiet countryside and what a countryside. Ideal for stopover or exploring one of the most beautiful parts of the country. The Royal Oak is open and just a little walk away serving Wye Valley Ales, (nothing better). The hosts (Rob and Sara) are extremely friendly and helpful. Give it a try, you will not be sorry.

    www.DrakeHouseCaravanSite.co.uk 5 van CL Adult only Near Clitheroe Lancashire. Trough of Bowland and the Ribble Valley Fantastic area ,walking, views. Serviced well spaced pitches and the toilet and shower are open. We are only taking bookings no more than 4 weeks ahead. Peace and quiet  if you have time please have a look around this website

    Will serviced or enhanced pitches have a separate and new symbol in the 2021/22 Site Directory?

    Seems more pertinent than some of the existing ones which were probably set in stone a long, long time ago.

    Somebody might need to report this post to get a response.

    At least if they are not in this one then the idea might be planted for the next as wheels turn slowly at EG.

    A significant number of CLs across the UK can now boast fully serviced pitches, at least to the extent of offering water to each pitch as well as EHU.  Many additionally provide grey water drainage, although some others permit drainage into the nearby hedge.

    As in previous years the new Sites Directory does not specifically include identification of serviced pitches and to some extent this is also true on the CAMC website. Even after a major investment many owners do not advertise their new facility.  Sometimes the presence of such facilities is only discovered by reading reviews.

    The last comprehensive list of serviced pitch CLs was published in this group in June 2019 and much has changed since then. As a result I have scoured previous sources, examined CLs listed in the new handbook, together with those on the website and compiled a comprehensive list of 151 current CLs which offer enhanced pitch facilities (including the four new CLs as listed in the January magazine).  I hope readers will find it useful.  If you know of others not listed I will be pleased to add them as time goes on, and I will check each new magazine for new arrivals.

    Please post extras if you know of any I missed.

    To satisfy the CAMC system the PDF I prepared has been split into three JPG files. Not as easy to read as a PDF - sorry.

    If DJBut still updating his list then the following sites reported as New in the thread managed by Maddie are all, at least Enhanced.

    Ayshire - Orchard House (Mauchline)

    Cumbria - South Lamb Hill (Longtown)

    Gloucestershire - Orchard Lodge (Bibury)

    Hampshire - The Far Side (Lymington)

    Kent - Little Norwood Farm (Sittingbourne)

    Northamptonshire - Dodford Lodge Farm (Daventry)

    A couple more in Wales not included in the previous list:-

    Rivendell, Reynalton, Narberth, Pembrokeshire.  Water, drain and H/S at each pitch

    Dryslynn, Bridgend.   Water tap at each H/S pitch.

    Enhanced pitch CLs

    Further to my original posting last January and the supportive comments more recently I have brought the listing up to date (I hope) and, as it is still not possible to post a pdf as an attachment, I have created the listing as a Google Sheet instead.

    Ty-Cooke Farm, Pontypool, under Abergavenny (2085 in current SD) Monmouthshire. Enhanced pitches.

     DJB, another to add to your services pitches map is Grate Farm, Kendal....Hardstanding, Water tap, EHU and drain at each pitch.

    The latest update of the CLs with enhanced facilities listing can be downloaded by scanning the QR code attached.  As previously noted I will be happy to receive an additions or amendments to this list.

    There is no doubt that in the next printed guide (and on the CAMC website) there should be a specific symbol which identifies those CLs which have enhanced facilities at each pitch, i.e. EHU, fresh water at least (and hopefully a grey water drain facility).

     DJB, looking on your list you have the wrong name down for the site at Milford Haven, No  2116, it should be Woody Kiln Farm not Marylands as printed.

    Come on!!😊 I spotted that one because we had used Woody Kiln in the past and knew it had fully serviced pitches. I certainly didn't search through the whole list looking for errors, honest.wink

    You will of course now have to add Meadow Cottage to the list, the new site that has just today posted on the Late Availability post.

    Crabmill Farm, Lesters Lane, near Broughton.  Not sure if it is in England or Wales, it is very close to the border!  

    EHU, water tap, hardstandings, waste to hedge/ditch

    Re last paragraph. I wrote to the club about this very idea about three months ago. With the amount of cl's now with this facility it needs highlighting.

    Their reply was that my comments would be passed on to the appropriate team for the handbook for their attention.
