For every Labrador owner out there, wonderful little clip of daft dog celebrating. Our two would kick off like this regular, and all you could do was

    1. Join in

    2. Take cover

    3. Grab the delicate objects in mid air!🤣

Fantastic fun, known as Giddy Kipper time in this household

No this is my daughters bitch and she lives in East Grinstead, resisting the urge to visit just in case we succumb to having one undecided

Lovely photos Rufus they look delightful. We'll done mum.

Are they all identical or are there the odd distinguishing marks?

Hopefully they'll all have good homes to go to before you're tempted.

A small window of quiet for your daughter and family before they all get on the move 😉😱🤣

Daughter says they all look identical, reddish brown, mother and father are reddish brown, Dad is a KC registered Cocker, Mum is cockerdor, not sure what this makes the pups, in my book they are mongrels, cant see any distinguishing marks, but not handling just now as mother coping very well on her own.

All 6 were provisionally sold, but this was before folk came out of lock down and started going back to work. If you look on the web now there are lots for sale. Daughter did not do this as a money making venture, could be my fault, as i told her it would be good for Daisy to have 1 litter, we always said it stopped them getting fat in later life, might have been an old wives tale undecidedand i could regret this yell

Rufus they are mongrels regardless of folk saying otherwise. Very expensive ones, generally, I could feel my dad spinning in his grave when we purchased our cockerpoo 😉. More money than sense would have been part of his words!

Mum is Cockerpoo dad was KC registered miniature poodle apparently this makes her an F2B. She came via word of mouth and there was no lockdown price hike. Im not sure that there's much profit in breeding unless you charge silky money when taking time and outlay into account. Irrelevant as we adore her ❤.

I expect  there will be several dogs 'let go' now folk are beginning to return to work outside the home. 🤐.

First good view of a 2021 Roe Deer fawn today. We set off just after sunrise heading due East to a big copse just outside Aldbrough, cool air yet 15c in full sun. Beautiful morning, grasses dripping with dew, both Dogs happy walking just behind me, I’m thinking they allowed me & my wellies to displace the dew for them😊. I walked along the fence line of the Horse paddocks it was then I caught sight of a Roe Deer Mum eyeing me around 250/300 metres away, I stopped so she didn’t disappear into the copse. After a minute or so I saw the slight movement of her fawn’s head just at the height of Mum’s tush. The reality of seeing this years fawn with the light speckles behind her head is far more beautiful than Bambi of the Disney movie. I could see her big black eyes(using binoculars) she was licking her nose. Mum didn’t move & the spell was broken only when the fawn tried to suckle, Mum then slipped into the copse. I am gifted every year by these sights but this was late for my first sighting. It never fails to excite me when I’m lucky enough to share these encounters. Dogs are now on their beach towels in the conservatory drying in the sun, it’s a gift I never take for granted. Enjoy your day.

Just one more, growing like crazy now, going to see them next week, the one on top with the red collar daughter has already named as Saba (arabic Sab3a number 7) and she has decided to keep, he was the 7th to be born and seems to be the bully when it comes to feeding etc.

It was out around 06:05hrs this morning, sunrise was a good 30mins away but I could see a light dome building due East. It’s the beginning of Autumn the 2nd most magical season for me, young un by my heel her mum with her nose being flicked by young uns tail, some things never change. I could see the mist in a band just above the ground, the ground was heavy with dew. We where heading for a fair sized copse I worked in regularly years ago & I knew the Roe Deer bucks would be patrolling for the Autumn rut, the light levels rising & oranges flecking the light clouds-magical. I never carry my phone or a camera on my walks so the pic you see below is from Google images & it’s almost identical to what I saw, it was a good 50-60metres away & the trees it was just outside of was no bigger than big bushes. The Roe buck knew I was there, thanks to the mist it couldn’t see the Dogs sat at my feet or a particularly good view of me. We looked at each other while he sniffed the air, within a few seconds he sneezed, turned left & melted into the copse. It was totally joyous to see, I couldn’t imagine a better meeting with a Deer in the Autumn on an ideal morning just before sunrise. We turned & set off back the way we came I couldn’t top that. By this time the Dogs were beginning to shiver & were truly wet from head to toe. I wish you a great day.

I borrowed this from Google images-I did not take the pic but the Deer & setting was very close to what I saw.

I remember you writing of seeing similar sights over the years, Rocky. Good you know the old magic's still there.  🦌
