Travel restrictions lifted for EU visitors

I can't see it will mean anything. Pitches are pretty much taken by home users for the near future and speaking from MH relatives over-there there a reluctance to travel outside their own country 'just in case' and never mind to all the way here.
They are just as keen for a hot sunny holiday and, rightly or wrongly, they think they won't get that here.

Given that nowhere near as many over there have been double jabbed. In the immediate future I would not think it will make a lot of difference tourism wise. The main advantage is that expats jabbed in Europe will be able to visit family in the UK if they wish.

Why would "our EU friends" (as BoJo continues to refer to them so hypocritically) want to come over here to use our sub standard, expensive, over crowded sites, having to book specific dates in advance when, apparently, they have "nirvana" on their doorstep?

well France remain on the naughty step for now and Spain introducing even more internal restrictions in the area of Valencia and the South African variant is now taking hold, so lets hope BJ keeps them out for now, infections much greater than in France

I didn’t recognise Bourton on the Water today, not a single Japanese tourist anywhere. Never seen it like this before. Not a single coach in big car park either.....

Every cloud….
Personally I’m fed up with having to book or queue to eat in a pub. Long queues for grossly overpriced mediocre fish & chips (£11.50) in Torcross today. Venues full of hooray henry types from Fulham & Kensington.

There are many pictures in Japan and china I would think. of our first rescue border collie who would just love to jump into the river windrush and pick up large stones from the river bed and drop them on the bank then jump in and fetch them until we told him we were going normally after we had finished our fish and chips

So why did you queue and buy some if you thought it overpriced?

Who said I did?

for grossly overpriced mediocre fish & chips
you did, otherwise how could you know they were mediocre?

I have these amazing things called eyes and why does it matter to you?

They are indeed amazing eyes if they can taste as well as see

You obviously don’t look at what you’re shoving in your mouth - you should be careful with that.

He means how did you know they were mediocre if you didn’t actually eat them. It’s similar to the confusion earlier with your wife’s car situation. A slip of the mind Mayhap, stress related or something else🤷🏻♂️. Anyway-happy to help👍🏻

No I can assure you I do Bill, and I've often found that the most bland looking food can be very tasty indeed, and the other way round too. I just let taste decide what is tasty and what isn't and not my eyes.

You share that with factual statements🤷🏻♂️, it’s an issue for sure☹️
