To close off the side topic of global warming, they are about to hold a worldwide conference about that in Scotland - in Glasgow - in November.  Perhaps the most miserable place to be at that time, which might convince some people that there are places where warming is appreciated.

Good questions LLM👍🏻. Yes I was that skeptic years ago with the self same rationale re global cycles. MSF(quite a while back) proffered some reading matter, I followed the reading matter & came across who I now know as climate scientists read their offerings, I also followed the nay sayers too they generally lead back to what the Americans call-‘big oil’ like Exxon Mobil, Chevron, Lukoil etc. Then the icing on my cake was seeing the worldwide destruction of countless millions of acres of forestry & livelihoods to a change in climate(climate change see👍🏻) floods, fires, droughts, heat increasing year on year. It’s there to see in shocking HD. This Planet is being slowly killed in my lifetime I’ve seen the balance of opinion go from ‘climate change cranks’ to ‘climate change denier cranks’. It’s not the best answer ain’t nuclear but it’s one of the quickest answers we have.

    PS-OT. . .yes, I’m done.
