Road safety checks taking place in Devon

On our local news. Devon & Cornwall police are carrying out safety checks on touring caravans. They are checking brakes, tyres and how the caravan is loaded, amongst other things. Seems like a very good idea, especially with so many people newly taking up caravanning and the roads being so busy this weekend.

Yes, I saw that and, as I commented in the other thread, the emphasis seems to be very much on advising and educating folk.
