How will the club cope with day one of opening?

If and when the sites open on the 12th of April, is the club going to put in place a timed access rota as they did at the end of the first Lock-down last year?

Or is it going to be a bun fight at the gates as 100 + units try to access empty campsites on day one of opening.

Moderator Edit:

Up to date, there has been no information regarding any proposal for 'timed arrival' so, unless we hear differently, then arrival is as stated either in the handbook or on your confirmation of booking.  If you have any concerns, I suggest that you ring the site in question.

Have you contacted the club, not sure why you would think members on the forum should have the answers?

e-mail the club they are very good at answering the questions put to them. Admittingly often not the answer you want to hear but they do reply

There is another thread somewhere discussing this and the short answer is that we don’t know. Not even our posting warden knows.

So there you are, Dawn's advice seems the way to go.

So why bother having a club Forum if you can't ask questions and discuss potential  issues.

    Mods please delete this thread

Of course you can ask questions but we're just users of the club and we simply don't know. We usually discuss thing that we can answer.

People might discuss what should happen but it appeared you were asking what the club would be doing?

You can ask questions and discuss potential issues ,and as on a previos post when the same question was asked ,an answer as yet to what is to happen at 1200 on 12th April could not be answered even by a  cc site staff employee ,as with the rest including employees "wait for announcements I have reported your post to see if someone in the sites department at EGH can enlighten us ,or the CM can push it up to Mr Davies the man who should know?

Who said you can’t ask questions and discuss matters? You’re jumping to conclusions there.

I’ve told you that nobody here knows the answer. I’m sorry if you don’t like that but it happens to be the truth.

As a site manager of a Welsh site. I can assure members that, we are awaiting the Wales Gov green light perhaps later tonight or tomorrow. Once we get that thumbs up, we will endeavor to speak to members arriving on Saturday as soon as feasibly possible. The phone call will be to allocate an hour arrival slot of their choice. Hope this helps!
