I cleared it again and up popped your fine example of a classic car🤣

I found LLM's tip of Ctrl+F5 worked to refresh the profile pictures.

Thanks.

All it really needs is a statement where you change it, telling you to remember to save after altering and log off and clear your history. Certainly on the iPad it was very straight forward. Touching the change photo button brought up the option to go to my photos. Selecting a photo told me it was 4MB and I needed to reduce it to less than 2MB. Once reduced it went straight in with no issues.

Strange, I've got Metheven's car and LLM 's young lady and friend, but still got brue's Butterfly, even after closing down and reloading CT.

Is that a view of Ilkley Moor?
Job done, thanks.😁

Nah, he's better looking than that!

It's Ctrl F5 Brue. You need to hold the Ctrl button down and press F5 that fully clears your cache if you are using Windows. Mind you, for some inexplicable reason, it's slow with the CAMC site.

I don’t think so. I had to do it to see my new avatar and again to see the cat. As I put earlier a note by the change photo button would help to remind you if you change your own. As to others avatars, it does not really matter, most clear there caches periodically and they will then get the new pictures.

Feeling really pleased - actually managed to do it on a Mac, having previously been unable to do so because of the Flash issue with Apple products. Thanks for all the guidance above.

Getting the hang of this now! Just changed it again. Interestingly, even though my chosen photo was on the desktop, until I cleared the cache, it was greyed out when I came to select it and I couldn't upload it. Clearing the cache made it 'visible'. Remember, however, this is on a Mac and they are a bit weird sometimes
This was taken on our favourite CS, near Malton - where we will be (hopefully) in the middle of April.
