When can we use our vehicles?

As with most threads they drift to include many variations on the OP
For me taking your van somewhere to access services is OK, but don't take the proverbial or it may not be reasonable.
Arriving at you second/ holiday home and staying is not, to me, OK however, as the guidance on the HMG website says;
You cannot leave your home or the place where you are living for holidays or overnight stays unless you have a reasonable excuse for doing so.
You can bet that all the people that are starting to arrive will have their 'reasonable excuse' lined up and ready to trot out.
I could be wrong but, whilst agencies may not be letting properties out, I expect Easter to be no different than normal in terms of the number that are occupied.

When last years first lockdown finished? the cc arranged for Green Flag to have their staff at all? the clubs storage sites for a period , to assist members with problems getting their LVs running
Not heard if same thing is happening this time?

You are quite correct but is that not exactly what the CAMC is trying to do with their statement:
We are however awaiting further clarification on the use of communal areas and shared facilities (including toilet blocks and showers) and will advise on this as soon as possible.
I thought the Governments statement was quite clear to all those who want to listen. Another case of give an inch and someone will try to grab a mile.

So did I - quite clear👍🏻.
Remember March 2020 and the huge reluctance to close sites?😕

We store our caravan in a compound at a commercial site local to us. It doesn’t affect us as our van isn’t booked for its mobile service until early June, but I had an email from the site saying that they’ll allow trades people in to do services prior to 12th April, however the caravan/motorhome owners aren’t allowed on site until after that date so need to make arrangements to drop off keys/remove covers etc. with the site staff. In addition, caravans cannot be moved in or out of the site until after 12th April, so that would include taking a unit to or from a service workshop.
People need to check what the situation is with their own storage site before booking any kind of service

Indeed so, that's my next move
Though the service date was booked last year, before the present wave arose.0 -
Afraid it isn’t as clear as you may think.
According to the guidance on the roadmap (taken from Gov.uk webpages) .....
”Overnight stays away from home in this country will be permitted and self-contained accommodation - those that do not require shared use of bathing, entry/exit, catering or sleeping facilities - can also reopen, though must only be used by members of the same household.”
So ‘bathing’ is mentioned but not toilet facilities. The Club are quite correctly awaiting further info and clarification.

I think you are, like the CAMC, trying to avoid the spirit of the ruling by dissecting every syllable of every word. I believe that "Bathing" is a polite way of saying anything that you would expect to be carried out in a bathroom and would automatically include toileting.
Do you not think that unless everyone obeys the spirit of every ruling for a further few months we will never return to normality. If the Government allows any sector to find a chink in the rulings then, as sure as night follows day, every disaffected sector would try to have a dispensation made for themselves leading to utter chaos.

The shared use of "entry / exit" clearly puts a stop to using on site facilities. As I said before so many people trying to find ways around the rules and justify doing what they want. Just wait. Feck it up now and we will all be stuck in lockdown for the foreseeable. Personal caravans are in many ways the ultimate self contained accommodation, just makes use of what you have.

Horse's Mouth Information: I spoke with our local community policeman this morning, who's a helpful guy.
He's quite clear that my towing a caravan around 15 miles home in a fortnight's time, (so still mid March), for a service by the engineer is something I'm "perfectly entitled to do", likewise taking it to a local workshop to have the roof edge seals replaced.
He advises being ready, in the unlikely case of being pulled over, to explain just why I'm taking it - I'll print out the engineer's email.
He also added advice about staying well distanced from the service engineer, and also not inviting friends and family round to watch the process! I can't imagine why one would do the latter, but he had to make the point, and said that any traffic officer pulling me over would probably add the same.
My storage place is happy to have it collected, which doesn't involve any interaction other than him bringing it to the collection area for me to get, then waving when I do, but is not currently allowing servicing to take place on their premises, for fear of being fined.
So there we are, that seems clear enough.
I hope this may help others too. Presumably Northants isn't an island of different policy here, whatever else we're an island of

We are in similar position- our caravan being repaired under warranty since November lockdown and unable to collect due to the rules. We assume its now fixed. We expect non-essential shops like the caravan dealership be open on 12 April or earlier? The team who fix our caravan have been on furlow so not even responding to emails. So we do not know when the dealership will open and permit us to collect but I would guess its before 12 April.
Then like yourselves we need to clean it put items back in it before we travel to a site. I shall follow this thread with interest to see what advice appears.

In no way am I trying to ‘avoid the spirit’. I have strictly adhered to all rulings, advice etc throughout this pandemic, not seeing my Grandchildren since last January because they live so far away. No one has been in my house since last March and I last saw my 84 year old sister for 10 minutes on Christmas Day,
I was pointing out that the club were awaiting clarification as the Gov.UK guidance was not fully clear.

Step 2 clearly states:
Self-contained accommodation such as campsites and holiday lets, where indoor facilities are not shared with other households, can also reopen.
Hotels will not open before 17th May.
However, I do find it strange that:
Hospitality venues will be allowed to serve people outdoors at Step 2 and there will be no need for customers to order a substantial meal with alcoholic drinks and no curfew, although customers must order, eat and drink while seated (‘table service’). Wider social contact rules will apply in all these settings to prevent indoor mixing between different households.
So how do they or will they be allowed to use the toilets?
Conflicting information or at least confusing.....
