Caravan stopovers
we are going to pinoso in November with caravan. Can anyone give me any tips on where to stopover , preferably so we don’t have to unhitch the caravan . Also do you have to pay on these places . We won’t be going on the Paris route . A28 and A16 down to Bordeaux

It's too far ahead to plan now for next November, and I haven't the faintest idea of how far you want to drive each day .
But unless you want to stay hitched up overnight free of charge at motorway service stations or on supermarket car parks you will find a choice of campsites every ten or twelve miles - cost about £15 and much more comfortable, but you will probably have to unhitch. .

PS. My own choice if I were to go at that time of year would be to use the Portsmouth to St Malo ferry if it is running - and then run down the west side of France with campsites open all year including the ones at Rennes, Blain, Nantes, St Valerien, Fouras , Bordeaux and Urrugne. Once across Spain it would probably be Zaragoza.

As AD says above, Camping Riazza and Aranjuez both will let you stay hitched up. Aranjuez has a lot of itinerants living there in the winter but I prefer Riazza as it's easier to get back on the motorway, we normally overnight there going south to Murcia. Any luck I'll be parked in their roadway on 4th October!!
