As long as those pitches are paid for they can be used as the person paying for them wishes, sorry but that's the way it is, in most things that you can buy really.

OK. I thought you must have been correlating arrivals on site with the Sunday supermarket opening times otherwise I couldn't see why you'd mention being caught out by them 🤷🏻‍♂️.

When we were a family I often did the same. I would pay for one adult and one pitch fee on the Sunday and leave about 8pm after an evening meal.

Maybe I did but couldn't see the need to continue dragging the thread off topic so assumed it had relevance to arrival times on site. Clearly I was wrong. 😟

The Club does have a bit of a dilemma. If arrivals are now 1pm, and some of the departures are 11am, then it’s charging one heck of a total fee at times for less than 24 hours on a pitch. Certainly isn’t attractive to those looking for just one or two nights at some Sites. 🤔. Another reason why we are on CLs......👍

There’s a world of difference atwixt life & death food & an extra few hours that have been bought & paid for at no loss to anyone. I’m sorry but I still think it’s odd logic☹️

Do you you use the same logic for hotels and other "holiday accomodation?" as most have shorter arr and dep  times per nightwink

It all depends on if you are happy with what you are paying for. We use them for 1 / 2 night stops, as well as longer. I don’t have any issue with the charge, we would generally be off by 10:00 in any event. Clearly the numerous weekenders are also happy, or at least  it would seem so, given the numbers that pour in late on Friday and vacate on Sunday morning.

I'm an outsider ..but it really does baffle me why some people are so dissatistisfied with regulated arrival times..but still  keep patronising those sites.

If a pub wanted me to wait outside in the rain till 1300 I wouldn't grumble on a forum, I would just go to another pub.

Give up chaps, go somewhere else.
