It does all sound like very hard work TG.  No thinking outside the box on the part of CAMC from the sound of it.  Changing direction doesn't appear to be an acceptable amendment, but why shouldn't it?  It's not a problem to amend day and/or time on a crossing, so why should a change of direction be so out of the ordinary?  Ok, it may be somewhat unusual, but hardly something to cause problems.

Anyway, it's all sorted now smile

smile just need to get the vaccine and then we are off laughing

Re tunnel, I agree it doesn't seem to be an issue to change even the vehicle you take but a change of direction is an issue. Anyway in the end Eurotunnel approved it, so we all now know that it can be done smile

If it is the sme as when we used it several time in 1999/2000 it would be the French end (who do /did the main bookings) that would have been the sticking point ,with the classic shrug of the shoulders and an enfatic until really pushed NONsurprised

ps also found out from some Dutch friends that it is/was then ,always cheaper  return tickets if coming from France  than from Englandundecided
