Daily Mail article of toilet emptying in layby

Have any of you seen the article in the daily mail today showing pictures of a motorhomer emptying his chemical toilet waste in a layby whilst supposedly doing the NC 500. 

Not unexpectedly it has generated a considerable negative reaction to caravans/motorhomes and is not how would ever want to see our activity portrayed. 

At least one member of the group involved has tried to imply that this was for entertainment and may not be real but the damage is done.

Moderator Comment - I am not sure this is worthy of discussion here. If indeed it was a spoof what is there to discuss other than the bad taste exhibited by some? This is a topic that has been widely discussed in several threads recently.

    Even if it was a joke its not something to joke about. It happens we know it does, maybe not in layby's but down embankments, in the dunes even in some of the rivers and lochs. 

    A truly disgusting thing to do.
