It's good to see that rally bookings are now starting to re-open, much depending on how all concerned feel about the situation. Our local centre in the SW has a limited amount of events and I hope these will be able to go ahead. Due to rally closures we've booked sites this year but look forward to things improving for everyone. smile

We attended a holiday rally last week and it was good to be among like minded caravanners.  Social distancing was maintained every bit as well as it was on the club site where we had stayed the week before and far better than in many of the places we visited in the locality.  Everyone happily chatted to their fellow rallies from a suitable distance.  All those attending seemed genuinely happy to be back on the rally field, albeit with less of the normal sociable activities which are unique to rallies.  Roll on the time when we can get back to a more normal way of enjoying our rallying.

Is their a CAMC App that lists all Centre Events and rallies please? I assume a lot are cancelled, where is the current national list?

Unfortunately the CAMC does not provide an App similar to the very useful one which is available to members of the CCC.  I’ve suggested this to the Club in the past but have not had any response.  I’m afraid that there doesn’t seem to be any enthusiasm from the CAMC to promote Centre rallies and events.  There was a one off list of rallies published on the website at the beginning of the year which seemed to have been removed at the start of lockdown.  It is now back but the detail are exactly the same as before lockdown with no updates to reflect cancellations etc.

Here's the page which takes you to rally searches or a PDF >LINK< for all rallies. Many are cancelled so check with individual centres.
