Don’t use european site booking or Red Pennant, or insurance (except home) - have always found better deals. However, best value in my world is city based sites like Crystal Palace, Abbey Wood, Baltic Wharf, York, Edinburgh etc. Staying in those places is very expensive, but cheap as chips with Club sites.

Massive saving on the Volvo XC60 we purchased using the club's discount scheme.

The now extinct club credit card which gave reward points just for using the card. The points could be exchanged for site night vouchers. We generally got 4 or 5 vouchers a year which we would use on the more expensive sites in peak season.

Other than that, using club sites has to be high up on the list.👍🏻

Yes very much so, when we bought out current tow car there was a club offer on that gave us £1000 of KIA extras. And I purposely only mentioned it when the deal was done. No quibble at all, got a fitted tow bar and full electrics, carpets, and other things. I made sure we used all of it. So in effect we haven't paid any membership fees for our 21 years.

Also saved a lot with Cotswold outdoors, and mountain warehouse.

In the autumn of 2007 and again in 2008 we had 3 nights on a hard standing pitch with ehu for £1 for each stay!

These were at Haven parks near Tenby and Weymouth. At the time Haven had established links with CC and were wanting members to try their sites free for 3 nights.  The £1 was an administration charge by Haven and gave  free access to the indoor swimming pools and bars/entertainment areas.

Whilst the standards  of facility blocks weren't  of Club level they   were perfectly usable and at that time of year the sites including  the swimming pools were quiet.

    Excellent value for money!!

Like Tinwheeler, we also enjoyed using the free site night vouchers through the Club Credit Card.

Over many years we have made 50% savings on various attractions through the  vouchers in the Great Days Out booklets.

Site night vouchers with the club credit card, when it existed. We still get a M&S vouchers with the one Barclays replaced it with.

Large saving on a new XTrail.

As SB put big savings by staying in city sites over using hotels, particularly Abbey Wood for events in London.

Big saving on first year of English Heritage membership.

Getting £2400 worth of gift vouchers for an outlay of £2000. and lucky enough to get them without an expiry date. It will probably take me a couple of years to use them but well worth it in my opinion.

Access to some very cheap camping spots via the CL network, savings on the Great Day’s Out and Mountain Warehouse offers, and cheap stays in York city centre (providing site hasn’t flooded😂) We love the low prices on the non facility sites, and some of the Racecourse Sites.

Red Pennant Ins and Caravan Ins. We found our caravan had been stolen the night before we were due to travel to France. It was a number of years ago now. I am more than happy to renew our Ins each year.
