Can I go to France in August 2020?

Does anyone know what the quarantine requirements are in France for passengers arriving from the UK? I have read about a 'voluntary' 14 day quarantine period. How voluntary is it? How realistic is it to expect to travel this August?

My understanding is that you can now go without any quarantine and also insurance ok as Govt has changed travel advice.  So as far as Aug, well let's hope all remains well.  I'm off there end Aug then to Italy.cool

A number of travel insurances will now cover outbreaks of Covid-19 arising while you are overseas - but will not give cover for the cost of cancellations if you are ill with Covid before you go, or caught up and isolated by the test and trace people in this country - and cannot therefore set off.

I am too old to risk travelling this year, but if I were going I would wait and book a ferry and travel insurance just a few days before departure and would go without any site bookings at all - taking a mobile phone to call sites a day or two in advance.
