    Yes, there are major roadworks on the A5 south of the junction with the A6 where three lanes go down to two and on Wednesday two trucks broke down on the inside lane right in the middle of the roadworks, so it was down to single lane traffic. It wouldn't have been half as bad if the trucks hadn't blocked one lane with breakdown vehicles having difficulty in accessing them in order to tow them away.

    Thanks Lutz.  I'll toss a coin nearer the time A5 or Wurzburg/Ulm (A7).

    It was Lyon during a working day, due to emergency motorway closures. Became a converted sceptic wrt satnav!
