How annoying

I might be behind on the recent updates but how annoying that you can not access any “great days out “,vouchers even though the said “great days out” are now open for business and looking for business.. I appreciate that they all need the extra revenue but that said you are still able to access codes and discounts on other forums etc ....this is getting quite frustrating now, will have to try and access elsewhere even though I know for a fact CMC regularly gave discounts for where we are going.

Although the attractions are generally closed you can still order a hard copy of the guide and vouchers

Most of our days out so far have had to be booked in advance due to Covid19 restrictions and we haven't been able to use any vouchers or discount cards. With reduced access and numbers I feel that discounts can wait whilst venues catch up a bit on revenue.

I haven’t got a hard copy, I can access the vouchers to print off but can not access on line if the venue we want to go to is still on the list....every little helps at these times and I’m sure we will spend plenty once in there on mementoes etc

You can order a copy of the booklet for free from the shop, details on the LINK.

edit..no you can't, they've obviously stopped the offer at the moment.

Double thanks Brue, for some reason the link you sent worked searching for offers on line, I found what I wanted though it’s no good for what we want ( if that makes sense) at least I don’t feel like I’m missing out now😅

I always prefer to have a printed copy of the booklet in the van. It does save relying on the internet and possible frustration  or annoyance such as you experienced. When on  holiday I find it helpful to look through the booklet for the relevant area.

As you said in a later post "lesson of the day - plan ahead". Next  year (assuming a booklet is produced) you can obtain a hard copy as soon as it is available.

    Enjoy your visits.

I emailed CAMC on 6th May for a printed copy of the booklet - it still hasn't arrived. I emailed later in May for a copy of the OS Grid References for CLs - that hasn't arrived either.

I’d like to say that it’s down to C19, but getting things sent out from Club HQ is annually fraught with uncertainty. Persevere, eventually three of what you want will turn up if our experience is anything to go by in past years😂

I would have thought there is little point in having it for this year. It almost always says on these offers that they can be withdrawn at any time. Most attractions have limited availability and have to be booked. I would not think they would need to offer discounts to fill the venue to it new maximum. Personally given how much revenue they have lost, I would not expect it. Probably unlikely to be available in 2021 either, as places struggle to get back on track. Also unfortunately some will not survive so there will be less competition.
