They’re getting a head start and once we pass midnight, they’re legit. You know some folk will always push the boundaries.
Anyway, who's going to stop them and turn them around?😕

I didnt think there was anything illegal in taking your LV out on the road, you could just not sleep in it overnight but i guess you could have had a seista and then return home, but even so, just so long as they dont get their heads down before midnight they will be ok.

Hi Rufs
So, after a long day today we think we are organised and ready. We've practised our new procedures several times, we're good to go.
If anyone is venturing out to a club site tomorrow all I'll ask is don't arrive before your allocated time and please have some patience. Remember it's all new for us too, we're learning the new normal on the hoof, there'll be mistakes which we'll learn by. Life on site from now on will be very different to what we are all used to. And I get to clean toilets all day!
Because we're all allowed out now doesn't mean his virus is over. Be mindful and respectful of others, including the local population and we may be ok to carry on holidaying in our vans.
See you tomorrow
JK

We took our MH for the day out into Devon (a bit on the M5/A38), saw a few MH's and camper vans, only one caravan, but not to many and only a couple looked loaded. the roads were pretty quiet for a Friday, we covered about 160'sh miles there and back.
But as you say, after midnight it will be a free for all

I do believe that the reverse is the case! Why on earth would anybody who lives in a comparetively virus free area want to "escape" to an overcrowded, congested, dirty troubled place south of Gretna? The more likely case would be the english tourists will come to Scotland,so that they can enjoy the variety of scenery, the longer days and the more friendly inhabitants, plus the added bonus of being able, in a lot of areas,to flycamp for no cost!!

Rainfall varies but we have just had about 90 out of 100 days with no rain!Inhabitants mostly realise that without tourists and whiskey there would be very little income (unlike a certain first minister),so they do tend to be friendly in the right circumstances.

Yes I have had to water the garden nearly every day for the last 3 months which ,I have to admit,is unusual. Our daughter lives about 60 miles away and we were allowed to visit (out of doors) a couple of weeks ago ,as it was such lovely weather we took my mg midget, hood down!I am still getting over the serious sun burn to forehead and nose!! But we have had some rain during the last week so July will probably be wet which is a shame now that her ladyship has allowed us a bit of freedom!

Yeah, the midges can be a bit unfriendly.

Managed to do £30 better than that although I do get my panels shaded by a large poplar tree across the road from about 16:00 - 18:30 that's probably cost me about another £80 in lost output. Being further south than you helps and the roof angle affects efficiency as well, so a couple of variables in the equation.

I took down one tree that was threatening to throw shade on our panels, it was however our tree!
We have a good roof angle, 30 degrees I think, and are pointing just a couple of degrees west of South.
You have the advantage of being much further south CY......how much output do you get over the whole year?

we are doing approx £900, however, bungalow although south facing pitch is east/west so we have 8 panels on each side, but it works for us, not sure re kw output per year, but on a good day in June this year we were clocking 28-30kw per day, but just now we have only clocked 6kw, so will be lucky to do 10kw today, but it is quite a dull day.

On behalf of over 50% of the population (at the last count) I have to apologise for the cretins (Spelt snp) who tried to blockade the "border" between england and scotland today.

I thought that we were still unable to open caravan sites and holiday accomodation but it seems that I am ill informed as,according to a neighbour who works in Newton Stewart, all the local sites are full and the town is heaving with tourists today!! The blockade was in way of a statement by a group of misguided folk who think that Scotland should be independant. Before you know it they will be going round spraying silver cars black!
