P&O Dover Calais Prices
I suppose it was to be expected but P&O are ramping up their prices. We had a June/July crossing cancelled that cost £200, we have a credit note that we could use against a September crossing that is now circa £350. Actually cheaper to go on the Eurotunnel and save the credit note for next year.

Its not only the ferries who’ve increased their prices. Eurotunnel have increased them too. For an equivalent day/time in August its approx 70% higher than last year.

Booked flexi tickets with BF Portsmouth/Caen and return pre corvid paid in full, i now have tickets that i can use this year or next at pre corvid prices, cost me a tad over £450 for the lot and you can cxl up to 4 hours before departure, may use this year or maybe hold off until spring 2021.

Dunno what you are doing to get the Tunnel prices you are coming up with. Just checked for the normal times I travel for September, out at 1420on a Monday and back 3 weeks later at 0920 for a motorhome over 8m and its £212, £5 more than when I last travelled in 2018!
Now if only I could persuade the wife!

Yeh have done all that a few times but after a couple of heavy crossings which we considered not good for the dog, we decided to do the shorter crossings into France, much better for dog he can sleep in boot, did Cherbourg last year but thought we would give Caerns a go this year, especially as we only live 30 mins from the port in Portsmouth, might come back via Cherbourg depending how long we stay down in Spain, quite like the drive
