Now that people are seriously thinking about holidays again, I'd like to remind you that the latest version of Archies Campings is now on line.

As usual many changes have been made, but obviously at the moment, things may change due to the Covid19 requirements, so it's increasingly wise to check before arrival that a site is open, and has pitches - and what facilities may be restricted.

For those new to this forum, Archies Campings is a free database of more than 32,000 campsites throughout Britain and Europe, and files can be downloaded to make them accessible as POI's on almost every make of SatNav. Additionally there is an App (which you do pay for - but which has lifetime updates free of charge) which you can use on Android and Iphone, as well as other devices.

    "Archie" updates the website every couple of months and does a lot of work over the winter period checking data.  Don't download it until just before you go to get the most up to date information.

    If anyone is a member of Caravan Talk is it possible to post the update on there (you can copy and paste my post above) as I can't get access at the moment.
