Outfit length

Looking to the future I had a look at a CL that we might visit when the restrictions are eased sufficiently. The web page says maximum outfit length 10m. I guess that is either motorhome or caravan length. My car and caravan are approximately 15m. I imagine there can't be many car & caravan combinations less than 10m.

    I think you are probably correct as our 2 berth caravan and car is 10.1m. Most other outfits dwarf ours.

    Hi

    Normally, outfit length is what we call the "shipping length". That means if it's a caravan the measurements are from the tow hitch to the rear lights. The tow car isn't classed in the length of a caravan outfit as it can separate. On a motorhome it's basically the front to rear.

    On club sites the handbook gives you the max. outfit length for each site mostly due to pitch length but also due to access on site roads etc.
