Camper Clean
Has any body used one of these yet??
According to the instructions & video - it appears can't be simpler with NO mess or blue fingers
Here’s how it works:
1. Insert money. The door raises and the green LED flashes. Now turn the knob on the holding tank.
2. Slide in the holding tank filled with waste matter (just like with a caravan or campervan) until the green LED light remains permanently on
3. Press the start button. The door closes and the cleaning process begins. The waste matter is vacuum-extracted and the interior of the holding tank is cleaned with jets of pressurized water.
4. Once the cleaning process has ended, remove the tank. The holding tank is ready for use immediately and filled with just the right amount of fresh water and sanitary additive. The highly-effective sanitary additive has a subtle odour and is microbiologically based.
5. Enjoy your holiday with CamperClean!

Never used one as yet but thought it a good idea to be installed on CAMC sites during this pandemic. Gives people a choice.
Here's one video of it in use. CAMPERCLEAN

I thought this was a great idea for the final empty on a tour so that the holding tank was spotless while out of use until the next trip. Not so, unfortunately. On adding the initial water and chemical on next outing there, floating, was something neither of us had seen before as we use the facility ony for liquid.

The only site I've seen one on was Abbey Wood. I had recently given our cassette a deep clean after 6 weeks in France, so decided not to give it a go. Given the above, rather glad I didn't.
However, the one the OP mentions puts chemical and water in ready for the next use. Could be it's a later improved model. Not sure if the machine at Abbey Wood does that.

I've seen one on site at North Ledaig but it didn't seem to be working.

If it is a trial they may only beon certain sites for a short period

There have been posts where people who don't/won't use their own toilet ( see thread about sites re-opening) and this might tempt them to try it, particularly in this pandemic crisis and there are also some members who physically struggle with the process of lifting etc. so it might help them as well but it's not for me.
Still have to empty the thing on most sites as I'll be using CLs.
Now, a caravan washing service on site would be a belter.
Edit - Shouldn't this be in Caravan and Motorhome chat section?

I think the best improvement that could be made to the whole system would be for the depth gauge to register at about half full, thereby giving those who have difficulty with a full weight the chance to empty when lighter, and all of us a more usefull warning than that of "you dare not go again"!
Should I ever have to dismantle for maintainance I'll see if a modification is possible. Better than keeping a tally on a chalk board.

To ensure that our tank is as clean as possible for the next trip I load up the tank, after it's fine all empty, with the hot water I drain off, and drop in 2 of the pods from Aldi, or Lidl, and the shaking up during the journey home ensures that the tank is clean. Then empty the tank of soapy water down the loo at home and replenish ready for the next trip.

I thought that only worked on bridges.
