Grow some basil..... They'll eat that instead!!!!

I have only found 3 slugs in greenhouse this year, after finding random holes in cabbage or the odd sprout seedling. Each time I have sowed basil the young seedlings have been demolished. I have scrubbed all pots before sowing or potting on... I am trying eggshells once planted outside.

No, nudists. I'm told badgers are rather partial although they would probably make more of a mess of your garden than slugs.

Slugs are homeless frown unlike snails.

We have Song Thrushes nesting somewhere in the garden and they are partial to either a slug or a snail. Even though we have Hostas the birds do seem to keep most of them at bay.

Now moles are a different kettle of fish.😡

We have a resident hedgehog that helps to keep them at bay but still get some slugs on the plants.
