Online photograph storage/displaying

I know of flickr, are there any other good sites for displaying photo's?

    What's your prime concern? Is it storage or displaying.  I use Mediafire for photographs and videos.

    Chatting to a lady as we waited for an owl to appear and she asked me if she could look at my pictures.  I don't have a website and her ipad will not take memory sticks.  I see this lady most mornings and she knows I am slightly obsessed with wildlife, but can't share my hobby with her or anyone.  

    I think flickr is not easy to access for a casual viewer.

    Flickr is easy to use and easy to access and share across multiple platforms, but after recent changes had limited storage for free accounts and Pro accounts are not cheap (I have a pro account as I was fortunate enough to have been give one free by Flickr as I shoot mainly for a sports club, for the enjoyment of the members).

    Both hotmail (Outlook) and Google offer significant cloud storage for free with their email accounts. Both of these have easy options for setting up shared folders / albums which can be accessed easily across multiple platforms via a shared link or email invite.

    Failing that, just set up a new dedicated / "fake" Facebook page or Instagram page and share the photos for free there.

    Hi GL

    Flickr is very easy to use both as a contributor or browser. Just use the search tool. the only difficulty would be if you did not know the photographers name or site name.

    Flickr is free to use for up to 1000 images and unlimited for the Pro package which is about £50 at present. As I have said before, there is a massive amount of wildlife pics that are not only great to view, but offer in most cases the information included with the photo is a great help.

    BM  you are correct when it comes to looking at others' work.

    At present I have 2 Barn Owls that perform daily....just not performing right in front of me, but they will.

    As you've chosen Flickr, a quick tip: photos from Flickr can be dragged and dropped from your photostream, or albums, directly into CT threads using Firefox browser. Just click on the flickr down load arrow, select  a 'size' around 500 pixels wide, and drag the photo across to your open thread. You don't actually download the photo. You must make your photos available to 'Public' though. Here's an example!

    I use www.23hq.com

    its free without adverts, easy to upload pictures in singles or bulk and has options to resize photos to set sizes or gives 3 different types of links to use, ideal for posting on forums except this one which doesn't have the link facility.

    Hi GL

    When you have started loading pics, contact me via either the Flickr e-mail or add a comment to one of my pics and we can view each others pics.

    Good luck with the Barn Owls, such a gorgeous bird.

    Oneput introduced me to one on the Holkam Estate a couple of years ago while we wre watching the Hen Harriers.

    Sorry about not responding GL. I have not checked for a while on this thread.

    If you search for Keith Fowler then select people, you will see a number of us. mine has been the top one as I was probably the latest to join. There is a round pic with a redshank.

    You can e-mail me direct on flickr or add a comment to any of my pics and I will then follow you.
