Premier league players.
How pathetic can one get? There have been many cases of Premier League players breaking the social distancing rules but the excuse given by Kyle Walker talks biscuit. All the money and privileges that they get and he expect the man in the street to have sympathy for him.

They just don't get it do they? They think that they are little God's and can get away with anything.

I agree, but it is not just footballers and, in my experience, not even just the younger generation. I have seen a number of incidents of intelligent people, many in my generation, who, given what they perceive as acceptable or extenuating circumstances, have assumed that some kind of special rule applies to them and they can break the lock-down.
My view is that the government was too relaxed about the lock-down restrictions and way too vague about what was acceptable and what wasn't; furthermore, the sanctions were, and are, insufficiently stringent. For too many, the message just did not get across.
We needed strict, clear rules using a risk based approach!

As you say, intelligent people who have decided the risks for themselves and have acted accordingly. Just because you disagree does not make them wrong. I often go for a ride on my motorbike in the local area just for pleasure and am no risk to others in fact in wearing a helmet I am more isolated than when driving in my car. Before anyone says I am at risk of having a accident and stretching the NHS you could apply that logic to anything so safer to stay in bed. As for not being stringent enough with the rules your having a laugh this is not russia

I read the sports pages of three ( 3 ) national dailies this morning and I am now most assuredly, convinced that Sports players and writers in general are reasonable folks, but some of them should be Sectioned swiftly for the safety of the General Public !!

Sorry, but I have to disagree. In that case why don't we all jump in our cars and go out for a spin every now and then? How are you "more isolated"? I don't think motorcycling comes under the heading of exercise or in the case you describe "essential travel". Good job you're not heading over Fisherman's way!

Who is this fisherman?

I read on the BBC website earlier today that Kyle Walker has written personally to each individual Man City fan apologising for his behaviour.
Well I haven’t received my email / letter yet, Kyle, and checking the “blue moon “ online fanzine, neither has anyone else!

Yet another one caught breaking the Stay at Home rules. From the BBC web site.....
England Under-21 midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White is facing disciplinary action by Wolverhampton Wanderers after pictures emerged of him apparently breaking coronavirus lockdown rules.
Footage was posted on Snapchat of Gibbs-White, 20, attending a party in central London with friends last week.
