National Theatre Streaming On Line
Just had an e mail from our local theatre about the National Theatre setting up on line streaming for a variety of productions. Starting April 2nd, One Man, Two Guvnors then Jane Eyre, Treasure Island and Twelfth Night. More on the way. See the National Theatre news via YouTube etc.
Something else to enjoy if you like the theatre.

I forgot to watch the first broadcast last night, apparently it was very funny so I'll look on youtube later, I think it's available for seven days. Will have to watch on the laptop as our TV always goes into buffering mode in vital parts!
Because of our slow internet I received my box set of "Friday Night Dinner" and am enjoying the catch ups in the old fashioned way.

I got an email from Cineworld about this as they usually screen these recordings in their cinemas.
I watched last night broadcast, it was quite funny if you like James Corden who plays the main character.

Thanks for the heads up brue. We only recently upgraded to a smart tele when our old one packed up. I have found it on the U tube app and saved it so we can stream it later. OH likes the idea of Jane Eyre. I noticed there is a trailer for it.

I watched Twelfth Night yesterday evening, it kept my attention going and I thought the set was very clever. As there's a lot of character mixing in the play I wasn't so keen on Malvolia as Malvolio but the acting was great. It does take you out of yourself watching a play rather than a TV drama, different kind of experience.

Another heads up for theatre and film fans. Andy Serkis is live reading the whole of The Hobbit today, with appropriate loo breaks!
