I believe the club played a part in the consultation exercise so well done all those who helped bring about the reversal. πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

    Of course, Brian. πŸ˜‰

I hear that MH and van VED will be equalised from 1 April 2021 with MHs being registered as vans.

I wonder if anyone’s considered the slight difference in speed limits for the two registration classes and whether that too will be equalised.

    Phew, close thing there, HG.

There could be people regretting buying at the beginning of the month to get a 20 reg MH.

Although the tax increase was for good environmental reasons it was draconian and baffling as you would be paying many thousands of pounds extra for an engine with a better emissions performance. Usually such measures are phased in with ample warning so that manufacturers, middle men and consumers have time to adjust. Good news for the industry.

Had a guy show up with a shiny new 20 plate Benimar the day before yesterday. Bet he's not a happy bunny.

The pressure groups, including the CMC, deserve our gratitude. So, thank you.
