    I booked a CL last week via email and was asked for my membership number.  Won't know of course until we get there whether we will be asked for our cards.  Must admit that it isn't often we get asked for them.

    But you would have been legally covered if a mishap had happened, which may have been a problem for you and the owners , if not a member of either clubwink

    We use CL's most of the time, and if booking by phone we are asked for our membership number on most occasions. If booking by email I always include my membership number as a matter of course, along with my mobile phone number. On arrival we are seldom asked to produce our cards though.

    I think CL owners have the ability to check membership numbers with EG these days.

    I too think that they can, peedee, but wonder how many both especially if they don't get any problems from those that use their site.
