You came up with the original idea, MF. All credit for that.👏🏻

Took the plunge and drove to my nearest site featured on the map - Morrisons at Enfield, nearly 45 minutes away!
After showing the container to the cashier she said I couldn't fill it up here but, before even I could respond her supervisor looked over and siad, that;s safefill isn't it? I replied, yes and she saw the logo and recognised the container and told me that it absolutely fine and to go ahead and fill up.
I duly did so and got a very heartfelt apology from the cashier which I accepted.
As an aside that Morrisons is very accessible form the M25. Striaight down the A10 (which is dual carriageway) about a mile or so London bound and Morrisons is at a junction with traffic lioghts just beyond Sainsburys. Feel well chuffed filling my cylinder up for under £7!
Pumps are #13 the closest ones to the entrance.

UPDATE
Newton Grove has now added a total of 287 filling stations that hopefully allow you to fill refillable bottles such as Safefill, Gas It etc This has been done with the help of Facebook Caravan Groups and CAMC Members in this “Club Together Discussion Forum
Links to the Spreadsheet and Map.
If you would like to add any missing ones or amend existing entries please fill in this Form or reply here2 -
This is becoming a really useful bit of software John. I hope that Caravanners, Motorhomers and campers see the benefit of a facility like this and support the cause by sending information of new points whenever found. Thanks again JOHN- magnificent work!

Just one minor quibble John, you have listed Lodge Farm Leisure twice, 196 and 200.
Thanks for your hard work.

Johnny - We go to Malton quite often and use the Wentworth Street car park - I think you will find that JB Motors in Wentworth St no longer sell LPG. Their pump has been covered over for months.
Perhaps if there is any one local, they could confirm.
(We regularly use a CS near Malton, and as a Safefill user, I notice these things!)

Hi richardandros
Thanks for reporting this I have greyed it on the this and put a note in red on line until it is confirmed.
I have asked in the CAMOGG group if anyone local can they confirm & sent message to JB.
Will be a shame if stopped doing it as is listed as "Safefill appointed refill centre"

their's a Texaco just off the M27 near ower, New Forrestthey did my safefill in 2018
on the list is Cornwall auto gas, you wouldn't get a motorhome in, so just bottles

Thanks Dakota1970
I will add the Texaco to the list and map with a note that was in 2018.
The Cornwall one is not an issue with our list as it is only for refillable bottle stations anyway!John

Noted - yes a disappointment. However, I can confirm, as of two days ago, that Maple Garage near Sproatley have no intention of ceasing to supply LPG - indeed, there has been an upsurge in demand recently, with a few local businesses switching over to Safefill.

A camp site in Bedfordshire has installed an LPG pump for refilling tanks and appropriate cylinders.

That quite an innovation!
(With thanks to PM of ASOF for the info)

Could this be the start of a trend, perhaps.

This group on Facebook might be interesting to some. https://www.facebook.com/groups/3305410199475563/?multi_permalinks=3322730141076902%2C3322674171082499%2C3322671664416083%2C3322645067752076¬if_id=1582358911135073¬if_t=group_activity
Johhny57, would you be willing to share your map and spreadsheet of LPG fill locations on the group?

Suggest any other Safefill users join this group "SAFEFILL INFO & REFILL STATIONS" on facebook and share there info & stations that fill bottles

Has this "Autogas" statement to phase out their Shell Calor LPG forecourt outlets been noted previously?
It tabulates the dates for the start of this by individual outlets across the country.

Well hardly inconvenient. The one that is closing is about 3 miles away, the one that hopefully survives 6 miles away. Even if there are none locally it will be easy enough to use one on route to a site. As I put in the other thread, we bought it so I didn't need to manhandle cylinders, not because we use an exceptional amount of gas. However, such a large number going could well be an issue for those who do a lot of off grid.
