Condensation

hi i have a autoroller 747 motorhome and when i make the bed up in the u shaped lounge i notice there is condensation behind the seating area and on the wooden part about the garage is this common in the winter

    One cure that used to be recommended if you cannot improve ventilation is to place sheets of cardboard between the surfaces effected. I suppose polystyrene would also be equally effective.

    Certainly I'd use polystyrene bars of say 3" by 2" and about the same length as the cushioning is wide { 15" perhaps ??} to space the cushioning away from the walls. This will allow air circulation round the suspect areas. BUT to help reduce this problem a reasonable amount of ventilation is vital, I'm afraid.

    Do you have condensation boards? These usually create an air gap between the cushion and the wall of the motorhome.
